Sustainable Food Resource

There are two great food organizations in the US today that provide resources to consumers and outlets for producers of sustainable products. Slow Food USA and Slow Food Nation are great resources for anyone interested in foods produced in a sustainable method and locally sourced. 

I've just come across a great article on the Slow Food USA blog. Sustainable fishing has been a topic at my dinner table lately, as I am living in Southern California at the moment. The incidence of shark sightings and attacks has risen this year, and one argument is that their natural food source, fish like tuna, is dwindling in population.
