Gelato Makes it to the Wall Street Journal!

I have had a love affair with gelato ever since my first trip to Italy in 2002. Different from our American ice cream, gelato has a mysticism about it (for me, anyhow) that makes this treat mouth-watering. 

In the world of media, you know something has made a worldwide impact when the Wall Street Journal has a major article on it. As a foodie, my little heart leaps when this type of press makes it to the eyes and ears of a mainstream audience. I take it as a sign that more and more consumers outside the "foodie" confines are enjoying amazing artisanal products from around the world. Or at least giving them a try.
