I like to claim I ate sushi before I ate a hamburger as a child out here in California. While that might be a bit of an exaggeration, it's not too far off. Sushi is part of the culture on the West Coast; we are all connoisseurs of this Japanese cuisine, although in varying degrees. To you foodies: I hope you know much better than to ever order a California roll!
